EU will reveal assessment results of Ukraine's fulfilment of candidate requirements

The European Commission will give its first oral assessment of Ukraine as a candidate country for membership in the European Union on Thursday, 22 June, at the informal European Council meeting on general affairs in Stockholm. Quote: "Commissioner Varhelyi will provide an oral update to the Council at the upcoming informal General Affairs Council meeting on 22 June, but the focus will of course be on the comprehensive enlargement report that the Commission plans to publish in the autumn."
