The aid package contains 16 million pounds of financial aid from the UK and a potential contribution of 9 million pounds from international partners. According to him, Ukraine has managed to repel a number of cyber attacks from Russia. "This funding is critical to stopping those onslaughts, hardening Ukraine's cyber defences and increasing the country's ability to detect and disable the malware targeted at them," Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said.

The Prime Minister is also urging the private sector to invest in Scottish businesses to support it. In addition to cyber defence, the UK will strengthen military support for Ukraine. The country has already contributed 250 million pounds to the international fund for Ukraine, funds from which will be used to purchase air defense, radar, ammunition and other military equipment.

As Militarnyi earlier reported, the UK government announced the transfer of a new package of military assistance for air defense to Ukraine.

The air defence package is provided with the help of the International Fund for Ukraine, in which the UK invests another GBP250 million.

Equipment that will increase Ukraine's ability to "protect its critical national infrastructure, civilian population and advanced personnel" will be purchased in the coming months through the International Fund for Ukraine.
