Some of the conscripts were handed out old uniforms and second-hand equipment. Their military equipment is for the most part in poor condition and requires constant maintenance and repairs. Russia continues to suffer losses.
The General Staff has confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a cluster of Russian military personnel in Mykhailivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) on 17 November, killing and injuring over 30 Russian soldiers. Nearly 60 Russian military personnel were killed in an attack by Ukraine's defence forces on a cluster of Russian forces near Mykhailivka in the Skadovsk district of Kherson Oblast.
