The Slovak company Way Industries started to assemble a new Bozena-5 demining system for Ukraine. Volunteers are raising funds for it through the Darcek pre Putina (Gifts to Putin - sk.ed.) initiative. At this time, EUR 263,000 have been raised.
This accounts for over 40% of the cost of the Bozena-5 system itself. According to the agreement between the fundraising organizers and the manufacturer, Way Industries, after paying EUR 200 thousand, the production of Bozena-5 should begin. "We are ready to fulfill our obligations and deliver Bozena to Ukraine in the necessary quality and time.
On this note, we can declare that we are starting production," the company's representative said.

The target amount to purchase a Slovak-made Bozena-5 demining system with other services is EUR 650 thousand. The price also includes training, additional equipment, and transportation. The logistics of the project is carried out by the Team4Ukraine non-profit organization.
According to the plans, after the successful completion of the fundraising campaign, Team4Ukraine will ensure the delivery of Bozena-5 to rescuers of the Kherson region involved in mine clearance operations.
Systems from this company are already operating in Ukraine.
The crew of the remotely controlled Bozena-5 demining system was involved in the demining operations on the liberated territories of the Kharkiv region.
The system conducts forced detonation or elimination of anti-personnel mines of pressure or tension action, as well as anti-tank mines with a charge equivalent to 9 kg of TNT.
