Russians are committing suicide after an unsuccessful assault near Avdiivka

Recently, the soldiers of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade together with other units repelled one of the attacks. The Brigade reported that the Russians sent 21 units of equipment and several hundred soldiers to the attack. "The enemy does not stop trying to attack Ukrainian positions around the city. But we do everything to burn the enemy in the fire of our weapons - it doesn't matter whether it's offensive or defensive," the military said.

The released footage captured the neutralized infantry and the destruction of at least six units of Russian equipment: BMP-1, MT-LB, and T-72B.

"The invaders are losing equipment and about 200 personnel," the military added.

After an unsuccessful assault, the Russian military left some of its wounded on the battlefield. Some of the wounded invaders tried to commit suicide and blew themselves up with a grenade, but received even more injuries.

It is worth noting that the Russian shelling of Avdiivka does not stop. Thus, the city's infrastructure is practically destroyed. People who previously did not want to leave their homes started to ask for help in evacuation.

"Back in 2017, the town was flourishing, roads were being repaired, a cultural center was being rebuilt, and the factory was working.

Now, it is a ghost town, but there are still people here who need support and help," the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

As previously reported, this is not the first significant Russian loss near Avdiyivka.

In February of this year, the Ukrainian military defeated armored groups of the invaders with tanks.
