The Wagner PMC handed over its weapons to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

Footage from the video of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation The Ministry of Defense of Russia disarmed units of the so-called Wagner PMC. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that over 2,000 units of equipment and weapons had been transferred.
"According to the plan, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are completing the acceptance of weapons and military equipment from the Wagner PMC units," the statement said. In particular, heavy weapons, including T-90, T-80, and T-72B3 tanks, were transferred. The Wagner PMC was armed with the Grad and Uragan MRLs and 2S1 Gvozdika 122mm, 2S3 Akatsiya 152mm, 2S5 Giatsint 152-mm, 2S4 Tulipan 240mm, and 2S9 Nona-S 120mm ACS.
The Russian illegal armed formation was also armed with an air defense system. In particular, the mercenaries had Pantsir-S1 SAM and Strela-10 SAM.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that dozens of units of the transferred equipment were never used in combat conditions.
