Moscow attacked by drones

In the early morning of July 24, explosions were heard in several districts of Moscow. A drone attack on the capital of the aggressor state is reported. Local Telegram channels and eyewitnesses on social media publish videos.

The Russian invaders have traditionally blamed Ukraine for this attack. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that at about 4:00 a.m. local time on Monday, "drone strikes on two non-residential buildings" were recorded. According to the official, there are no "serious destructions" or casualties. Russian propagandists write that on Komsomolsky Prospekt, in the city center, the fragments of a drone have been found. The wreckage was discovered near a two-story building, located near the premises of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The roof of the building had been damaged. The explosive wave had also blown out the glass of the windows in the surrounding buildings.

Russian security forces blocked the roadway of the street.

Emergency services are working on the spot. There were reportedly no casualties. In addition, in the business center on Likhachev Street in Moscow, the damage to the glazing on the upper floors is visible after the explosions. Eyewitnesses also observed smoke and a small fire.

After some time, Russian police also blocked traffic on Likhachev Street.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state said that Ukraine had allegedly tried to strike "objects on the territory of Moscow" with the help of two unmanned aerial vehicles. According to them, electronic warfare was used to counter drones.

This is not the first time the capital of the aggressor state has been attacked by aerial drones.
